Literacy assistance We have a range of literacy resources to assist people in the agriculture industry cope with increasing technological demands and compliance. These include: a brochure for employers designed to raise awareness of literacy and numeracy, outlining the help available and offering practical suggestions a numeracy peer tutoring resource for trainees containing practical exercises for trainees to work through with a person alongside them an assessment tool for training providers to assist them to gauge the literacy levels of people working in the dairy industry and literacy workshops for tutors to assist them in identifying the literacy demands of training and provide strategies for responding to learners with literacy needs.
