Step 1 - Supply a completed NQF Application Form, QMS and supporting information to the Agriculture ITO
To gain accreditation for agriculture related unit standards from NZQA you will need to supply NZQA with a letter of support from the Agriculture ITO showing you have met our specific industry requirements.
The following information is required by Agriculture ITO to make its decision to support your application or not:
A completed NQF Application Form. The sign-off of this form confirms that the application is a fair and accurate representation of your current status and that the governing body supports the policies included in the application.
Your most recent Quality Management System (QMS) Document
A detailed response to the industry specific requirements including a completed 'Agriculture industry specific Checklist for NQF accreditation requirements'
Evidence to support your application. Wherever possible, you should include actual evidence to support the application, e.g. letters of support from industry, evidence of staff qualifications.

1. NQF Application Form
The NQF Application Form mirrors the information required by NZQA meaning, if successful you can use the same form for your application to NZQA for accreditation.
Download
the document in word format, complete electronically and continue to Step 2.
Remember if you need additional support or would simply like to talk to somebody about accreditation complete as much as you can of the application form and email, post or fax it to Agriculture ITO Quality Assurance Manager (the details are on the form) and we'll be in touch.
If you are familiar with NQF accreditation complete the NQF Application Form and the following information and forward it by post to the Agriculture ITO Quality Assurance Manager - the details are on the form. You will need to complete the 'Scope of Accreditation' you are intending to cover. You may know the unit standard or domain names you seek to include, if not the
Agriculture ITO AMAP
document lists all the domains and unit standards available within the Agriculture ITO's scope of standard setting responsibility. Use the
search function
on the NZQA web site to look at the detail of any domain or unit standard.
2. Your most recent Quality Management System (QMS) Document
Your school will have a quality management system in an electronic and/or paper format. Check your QMS covers the industry specific requirements then save a copy to disc or print a copy and include it with your application.
3. A detailed response to the industry specific requirements including a completed 'Agriculture industry specific Checklist for NQF accreditation requirements'
The industry specific requirements are laid out in our
Accreditation and Moderation Action Plan (AMAP)
registered with NZQA and available from their website. The following link provides a

accreditation document is designed to help you reference information within your QMS document and/or supporting documents which we recommend you bind or supply in a hole punched folder. We have included some comments to help you complete this form in the comments column please type over these to enter your references e.g.
